I had the a double room which was updated and wonderful with a view. A shower, hair dryers and bath sheets were very handy.

The staff at the hotel were knowledgeable and attentive throughout. the rooms were functional and brand-new, with excellent views and the convenience of a roll-away bed. the restaurant was a favorite spot for delicious breakfasts and dinners.

This design hotel lies in a recently built district (namely National Harbor) on the Potomac river. In particular, it is on the opposite shore of Alexandria which can be reached in 20 mins by boat. Connections to Washington downtown are available by taxi or shuttle buses, shared by the hotels of "National Harbor". Several restaurants can be found in the neighbours.

The view was nice and the location was convenient.

The lobby was very noisy during check-in due to a party taking place. The staff could not find my reservation when I arrived eventhough I had a print off of the online reservation confirmation. The breakfast area was not stocked and had minimal selection. No microwave in room.

The location is great and stunning, with public parking available. It is right by the center of the harbor and close to restaurants, shops, and the National Harbor Marina. the rooms offer a great view.

With the quality and price of the rooms I would have expected real glass and wine glasses in the rooms.

I left for a wedding at 12pm for the day and came back later that night (11pm) to an uncleaned room. I could not get my room cleaned after hours because there is no room service. They should have accommodated this request by having "someone" on staff who can freshen a room that has been missed by the cleaning staff.
